At 30 women are clinically meant to reach their sexual peak .... I'm still waiting .. And waiting.
Everything can have an impact on your need to get down and dirty between the sheets such as.
Medication
Hormone levels
Stress
Depression
Children
Exhaustion
Medical conditions
Low self esteem or body issues
And the list goes on and on.
You need to start to relearn your own body and start to feel comfortable in your own skin, do what you need to make the experience something that will work for you and your partner.
There isn't a magic cure for your sex drive to suddenly reappear (unfortunately) but it isn't easy when you have small children because letting loose isn't on the cards, you have to be quiet and I'm guessing it's only worse when they start to have an idea about what sex actually is. So when they move out your sex drive may return.
Antidepressants and similar drugs can have a serious effect on it, and sometime simply changing your medication may give you a little lift, this goes for hormonal contraception too.
Always talk to your partner of you have one so they know it's not them and it's something your trying to rectify. Communication is key and don't put it across as its a disease out is across as it could be a fun challenge for you both and you may find a few sexual kinks along the way. So if may be a win win for you both.
Women don't always get "horny" before sex sometimes they start having sex and then get are ousted so sometimes it's a good idea to start rolling a round and having all other types of sex before full intercourse.
Hope this helps anyone in a slump ! And remember it's a phase and you will get to the other side.
